Foreign Currency Mortgages are available in many countries offering you the choice of paying for your property in a variety of ways.

For example in some countries, banks will offer you the opportunity to pay your mortgage in Euros, Japanese Yen, US Dollars or Swiss Francs.

In such instance the underlying interest rate may well be lower than the local currency but you will need to keep an eye on currency fluctuations as well. These may have an impact on how much you have to pay each month as well.
